Legend of Korra OC

Because the main cast of LoK is, frankly, disappointing (seriously, everyone has Mai level development, and fit into specific stereotypes. Except Korra. She's amazing.) I decided to make my own OC.
His name is Jiro, and he was a firebender, "was" being the relevant term. His father was a firebender as well, and was a member of the triads. He left the life after he got married to his wife and had kids.
Then, his wife got sick. He couldn't pay for her medicine, so he got back into the triads, half to get the money, half to let off stress. He was murdered two weeks before his wife died, leaving behind fourteen-year-old Jiro and his twin sister, Juno.
Jiro learned firebending to protect his sister, but when he accidentally burned her face, he went willingly to Amon and asked that his bending be taken away.
Amon, intrigued, since this was the first bender to come to him willingly, took the boy in as kind of a valet, which Jiro readily agreed to, in return for protection for his sister.
Later, Jiro is sent by Amon to Korra and her Krew to deliver an ultimatum.
